- Cortical superficial siderosis

o Inflammatory amyloid

o Cortical microinfarcts

• Amyloid spells (Transient F Neurological Episodes – TFNEs)

o Transient paraesthesia most common 32%

o ?Seizures vs cortical spreading depression

• Bleeding risk (in patients with no prior ICH)

o Cortical superficial siderosis was standout risk factor

- At 5 years – ICH risk if cSS: 19% vs 6%

o Number of microbleeds and age were not independent risk factors
