   Clinical

o   Haemorrhagic manifestations

-   ICH

-   Cortical subarachnoid (?subpial) haemorrhage

-   Cortical superficial siderosis

o   Dementia

o   Inflammatory amyloid

o   Cortical microinfarcts

   Amyloid spells (Transient F Neurological Episodes – TFNEs)

o   Transient paraesthesia most common 32%

o   ?Seizures vs cortical spreading depression

    

 

   Bleeding risk (in patients with no prior ICH)

o   Charidimou et al Neurology 88, 17 2017

o   Cortical superficial siderosis was standout risk factor

-   At 5 years – ICH risk if cSS: 19% vs 6%

o   Number of microbleeds and age were not independent risk factors
